Ten years already!

Ten years ago, I founded Tips4Expat with a simple idea: to make international relocation a more personal, welcoming and positive experience.

Having experienced life across different countries and cultures myself, I knew that moving abroad was about much more than finding a home or completing administrative formalities. It was about starting a new chapter, finding your feet and gradually feeling at home somewhere new.

That belief became the foundation of Tips4Expat.

Ten Years of People, Stories and New Beginnings

Over the past decade, we have had the pleasure of supporting international professionals, couples and families as they began their lives in the Netherlands.

Every relocation has its own story, expectations and challenges. Some clients arrive full of excitement, others with a long list of questions, and often with a little of both!

What makes our work so rewarding is seeing those first uncertainties turn into confidence, smiles and a genuine sense of belonging.

And along the way, we have built lasting relationships with clients, companies and trusted partners who share our belief in the importance of personal support.

There Are No Problems, Only Opportunities

Entrepreneurship, much like international relocation, comes with unexpected turns.

Over these ten years, we have navigated challenges, adapted to changing circumstances and continued learning.

One philosophy has always guided me:

“There are no problems, only opportunities.”

It is about staying positive, finding solutions and approaching each situation with flexibility, creativity and a human touch.

A Special Moment on the Swing

In 2024, we celebrated Tips4Expat’s eighth anniversary together as a team at the A’DAM LOOKOUT in Amsterdam.

One of the highlights was taking to the skies on the famous swing, with Coco and me sharing this memorable moment high above the city!

It was a fun and symbolic way of bringing our iconic Lady on the Swing, part of Tips4Expat’s visual identity, to life.

That moment captured something we strongly believe in: embracing new adventures, sometimes stepping into the unknown, but knowing that the right support can make all the difference.

Two years later, as we celebrate our tenth anniversary, that same spirit of adventure, teamwork and personal connection continues to inspire us.

Happy Family = Happy Employee = Happy Company.

This has been our motto from the beginning, and ten years later, it remains just as meaningful.

A successful relocation is not simply about getting someone from one country to another. It is about helping individuals and their families feel settled, supported and ready to embrace their new lives.
